visIon therapy

Vision therapy aims to improve a person's visual abilities using a variety of methods such as eye exercises, testing, occlusion (patching) lenses and prisms. This can help children develop better handwriting, increase attention during tasks, increase reading comprehension, decrease letter omissions, math errors, and increase the ability to take better notes from the classroom board.

Eye movement training is a form of vision therapy used to rehabilitate the brain from injuries or to exercise specific regions of the brain to promote better performance.

Vision Therapy may also play an important role in achieving optimal health with:

  • Dyslexia

  • Amblyopia (Lazy Eyes)

  • ADHD & Attention Issues

  • Strabismus (Crossed Eyes)

  • 3D Vision

  • Autism

  • Concussions

  • Strokes
